  14. POSITION:    Software/Modem Test Engineer-LR
  15.  
  16. DESCRIPTION:    Work with moderate guidance to develop and execute tests for
  17.          embedded telecommunications systems. Primary testing aspects
  18.          include modem functional, compatibility, and performance 
  19.         tests, system functions, and operator capabilities. Maintain 
  20.         test plans and reports in MS Word. Tools in use: DOS, 
  21.         Windows, MS Word, Apriori, MS Excel, Procomm Plus 
  22.  
  23. SKILLS:        Three to five years min. exp. in SW testing, including test 
  24.         development, documentation, maintenance, execution, and 
  25.         reporting. Exp. in telecomm, specifically modems is 
  26.         REQUIRED!!!!! ISDN Terminal Adaptor experience and 
  27.         LAN/Packet network experience is highly desired. Familiarity
  28.          with formal test disciplines such as coverage analysis and
  29.          metrics is a big plus but not a requirement. Unix and 
  30.         X-Windows skills helpful. Candidate should be familiar with     
  31.         industry modem test tools and be able to automate tests.
